ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Wan-Li Expedition brought a sunken treasure of porcelain, which had been underwater for 500 years, to the surface. The valuable pieces and their history were impressively displayed on the Leuchtenburg.

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT

According to design specifications by the architecture firm NAU, a concave set construction was planned based on an initial mock up for the exhibition interior. The design was realized with special manufactured textiles and a wooden substructure.
